The sky is the limit.

Last monday, I went with my family to Shangri-La's prestigious Sky Bar at Traders Hotel.

It's view of the Twin Towers and KL tower plus indoor swimming pool somewhat resembles Pacific Regency's Luna Bar.

The DJ crank's up some funky, jazzy tunes to suit the ambience of the place.

Malaysia's trademark Petronas Twin Towers. The ex-tallest building in the world.

Panoramic view of the city skyline and the KL tower sticking out from the other buildings like Yao Ming amidst a bunch of short people.

The drinks and food here are pretty pricey. As to be expected from a 5-star hotel bar.

Ordered the anti pasto. Personally, I didn't like it very much. Maybe my tastes are more suited to mamak style food.

Overall, pretty good. Splendid view of the city, air-conditioned interior plus poolside lounge area makes it a worthwhile place to visit. My mom and sister think the drinks suck though. They say the Blu Horizon Bar in Sydney's Shangri-La Hotel is top of the class. As quoted by my sister, "The drinks there are truly heavenly." I have yet to try it, so I can't really judge.

P/S :: Blogging is starting to bore me. Expect to see shorter entries from now on.
