If the Earth was a marshmallow...

Yesterday, my brother had to go get his student visa downtown, so we decided to eat there since we don't go down to KL very much. At around 1-2 pm, we went for lunch at Kampachi in Equatorial Hotel.

Seafood Teppanyaki. These grilled babies are simply to-die-for. Especially them scallops! I wish they served bigger portions though.

Beef Teppanyaki. Again, another one with an unbelievably minuscule portion. This one's definitely my favourite. Notice how the meat is pink in the middle, the chefs here really tenderize it to pure perfection. One bite into the meat and I think I probably died and went to heaven. The meat is super succulent and juicy, plus very well-marinated, I'm pretty sure it's not local meat.

This one here is my bento. Not as nice as the 2 teppanyaki sets, but still yummy. That flower-shaped thingy at the bottom right corner is actually lotus root by the way.

By the end of the meal, I was so contented and satisfied. I think if I made a list on all my favourite Japanese restaurants, Kampachi would be somewhere around the top. Only downfall is the price. Our lunch came up to about RM300, sigh. Guess it's like that when it comes to eating at hotels.
