Hung out with my mom and bro pretty much the whole day today. We went to this sassy place called Cava at Jalan Bangkung, Bangsar for lunch. The food there is realllyyy scrumptious and the drinks are simply to die-for, though it is a little pricey. We had the 2 set lunches for about rm25 nett, quite a reasonable price I suppose.
My virgin Mojito - yummy as hell.
Some seafood thingy...I don't remember the name but the cream sauce is mouthwatering!
Black pepper beef . Not too peppery, just the way I like it. The beef slices are tender and yummy too.
Okay, I admit this dessert was rather disappointing. It's basically a piece of fruit cake sandwiched between 2 biscuits and a piece of strawberry on the top. Nothing much to it.I wanted to order the Chocolate Dream (moist chocolate cake), but the waiter said it would take about 20 minutes to bake it and stuff. :( :( :( Oh well, I will definitely come back to Cava for their wonderful food in the future!
Later in the evening, went to the Curve again with mom and bro. Christmas decorations still seem rather dull, will judge when the final product is complete. At about 5-ish, mom and I went to Nan Xiang Restaurant(南翔馒头店) for a bite.
We had this herbal soup noodle thingy that was really delicious, but not exactly filling. I didn't take a picture because by the time I remembered, the bowl was empty already. After the meal, as we were walking to the car park, I held the door open for this lady who was carrying a bunch of shopping bags. Upon doing so, she smiled at me and said "thank you, dear" and hence the title of the blog entry today. I'm not usually this nice by the way.
